(Princess), from Santa Cruz, Calif., as Mrs. Harris, signed with Near East Relief in Constantinople in July, 1920 and returned to the Caucasus where she had served with the Haskell Mission. She remained in Kars after its fall on October 13, 1920. She worked in Alexandropol and Tiflis in 1921 and 1922, acting as Assistant Director of the Caucasus Area. The Armenian Catholicos decorated her with the Order of St. Gregory the Illuminator. Released in July, 1922, she reenlisted and returned to the Caucasus.
